Let’s call it what it is, a political kneel‑down. This ban wasn’t about safety, public order, or any of the usual boilerplate excuses. It was a calculated move to silence loud anti‑Zionist critics and insulate a foreign ally from uncomfortable scrutiny. When a government starts barring entry not for actions but for opinions, it’s not defending democracy any more, it is subcontracting its spine.

This account is a fascinating window looking into the state of current British politics. It's not a pretty picture. A lot of the information is completely new to me. From my view across The Pond, Starmer has appeared to be a rigid, unsympathetic figure. Furthermore, the British government's treatment of Palestine Action is outrageous, unacceptable, and a violation of the principles of free speech. I guess I'm not hugely surprised by this as I followed the Julian Assange affair closely. The behavior of the British government toward Assange was totally abhorrent! It appears that the State of Israel has far too much power over British politics. I believe this is also true for American politics.
